Part of the old city gates, at the end of DongGuanJie, YangZhou. There's actually a bit of the ancient, ancient city walls preserved. Under the arches of this gate lie glass floors - there are artefacts buried underneath, which they have allowed to rest. I paused to picture how bustling and vibrant this place must have been 500 years ago. My ancestors walked these roads, and now I've had the opportunity to do so as well.
