2007 Belcanto di Bellussi Extra Dry, DOC Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
The first wine I bought for our Thanksgiving feast. All of a sudden I'm responsible for all the wines at all these gatherings. I wonder why. The good thing is, David gets what David wants. And DF wants a sparkling wine from Italy.
Clean, bright, pure - what this wine lacks in complexity, it makes up for it in sheer joy of fruit. Beautiful. And what more can you ask out of a wine than to make you happy?

Had it on New Years Eve 2010 with fresh rice paper Spring Rolls,and Thai Fish Cakes, Sushi Rolls and smoked Tuna and it was amazing
